Last Saturday was a big milestone for my baby girl – it was her first time being flower girl. As she’s only 2 years old, I was a little worried if she can understand fully the instructions and whether she will freak out halfway through walking the aisle. Auntie Beatrice (the wedding co-ordinator) and Auntie Jasmine (the bride) both have great faith in the Mummy & daughter. This makes the mummy a little stressed but I think with such an adorable girl, adults will also be very forgiving even if my baby fumbles.
But of course being Auntie Bea, she was also taking precaution and decide to ask for another flower girl (who is my member’s daughter) and a older girl at 7 yrs old so that Inez can follow whatever Jie Jie does.
My baby girl did such a GREAT job and I’m so proud of her!
She did ok during the rehearsal, just walking down the aisle but no throwing of flowers though. She seem quite happy walking up and down. Think the time of waiting was a little long and the little girl seems bored already. When she begin to explore the environment and things, that was the time when the matrimony was about to start and she threw a little tantrum just before the door open and said she don’t want to be flower girl.
Once the door open and the big Jie Jie walked in first, she followed suit.
Can u see that she’s actually smiled? So sweet, right?
Halfway walking through the aisle, she noticed the videoman and the cameraman, she actually stood there for like 15 seconds to let them take pictures. I didn’t expect that from her.
She really did such a FANTASTIC job!!! Her next booking is next month for Uncle Alan & Auntie Liting. Think she will do a even BETTER job!
